KATHLEEN M. LOUCKS is no stranger to the aggressive tactics used by attorneys defending medical professionals and hospitals against medical malpractice claims - in fact, she represented "the other side" of these cases for many years with a well respected defense firm.

Now, she applies her legal skills to helping victims navigate the complex issues surrounding surrounding catastrophic injury and and medical malpractice claims.

An experienced trial lawyer, Kathleen Loucks is a former prosecutor and has been a civil litigator for the past six years, representing clients at the state, federal, and appellate levels.

In 2006 and 2007, Loucks was named to the "Rising Stars" list by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine, represented among the top 2.5% of young attorneys in the state. As an adjunct instructor at Hamline University School of Law, she is co-teaching the course "Wrongful Convictions" for the current year.

She is on the Advisory Board for the Minnesota Innocence Project, a member of the American Bar Association, Minnesota State Bar Association, Hennepin County Bar Association, Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association, Minnesota Women Lawyers Association, and the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association.

Loucks is licensed to practice law in the state courts of Minnesota and Iowa, and the U.S. District Court, District of Minnesota. She obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from William Mitchell College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota.
